Will the HC6000v2 work in an aquarium with 4 gallons of water (or 5 gallons, but prefer 4)? Im using it for a trade show display not fish or pets and need water to pump, stop, then start again, it will only need to pump 2.6 gallons of water before shutoff, then the water would drain back in and it would start all over again, the water in the tank “resovoir” area will be only 2.5″ to 3″ deep. I’ve already wasted money on the Briidea Hi-Lo Sump Pump Controller which is an electronic controller like yours, but does yours work where theirs don’t?

If the water will only be 2.5 to 3 inches deep that does not provide enough depth to place the probes. The HC6000 needs a greater depth of water to work in.
